Classes are in full swing. Students are actively learning music theory, sight reading,
singing, keyboards, guitar and home recording.

All classes are now held at the
Borrego Academy of Music and Art at
590 Palm Canyon Dr. Suite 101.

An event was held on March 8th at the Elementary School with Sean Conway.
The kids were taught to make bassoons out of PVC pipe, balloons and a straw,
and then held a parade.

Haywire at School

Another presentation was held on May 17th with local favorite Haywire.
There was a musical program and students asked questions,
saw the instruments and participated in the music.
Open classes will be held at the Borrego Springs Community Resource Center on Wednesdays at 11 am
throughout the Summer.
Efforts to repair and replace musical instruments are on-going.
